The masters-level clinicians at Northern Indiana Therapies are devoted to teaching each unique client and to educating their caregivers. Behavior clinicians thoroughly explore and assess clients through observation, interaction, research, and interviews. Clinicians then develop comprehensive and reliable behavioral support plans to help create therapeutic environments in which clients can thrive.

Recreation Therapists at Northern Indiana Therapies use recreation and activity-based interventions, such as creative arts, sports, dance/movement, and leisure skills to assist clients to achieve psychological and physical health, and well being.  Interventions vary widely and are based upon client needs and interests.

Art therapy incorporates psychotherapy and art materials as a way to express thoughts and emotions when words aren’t adequate or can’t be found. An Art Therapist is a Master level therapist trained both in Psychology, a wide variety of art materials and creative processes. A client does not need to be an artist or a “crafty” person to reap benefits from Art Therapy. It can be used to treat a host of concerns ranging from Depression, Anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Bereavement, Eating Disorders, and Autism. Clients of all ages can benefit from Art Therapy.

Northern Indiana Therapies counseling offices are at 804 Monroe Street and 910 Michigan Avenue in La Porte, IN. We provide services to all ages both in-person and through telehealth. We accept most insurances, including Medicaid.
